This introductory wheel class is great for someone who wants to develop the skills needed for throwing on the wheel. Wheel Basics is a four week class with no experience needed. We will cover the basics of wheel throwing and make some great works of art along the way! The cost for this course is 200$ and will include clay, glazes and all firing.
WEEK 1: Centering and throwing cylinders
WEEK 2: Centering, cylinders, bowls/mugs, and the basics of trimming
WEEK 3: Trimming bowls, mugs, and introducing making handles.
WEEK 4: Glaze day! Finish up all projects.
