2.5 hours per class, 4 weeks
This beginner-friendly class explores the art of handbuilding. You’ll learn pinch, coil, and slab construction techniques to create ceramic wares and sculptural forms. We’ll also use studio tools like the slab roller and extruder to expand your possibilities.
Weekly breakdown:
March 3: Pinch and coil construction, introduction to studio tools
March 10: Soft slab construction
March 17: Hard slab construction
March 24: Glaze day!
