2.5 hours per class, 4 weeks
This beginner-friendly class explores the art of handbuilding. You’ll learn pinch, coil, and slab construction techniques to create ceramic wares and sculptural forms. We’ll also use studio tools like the slab roller and extruder to expand your possibilities.
Weekly breakdown:
December 6: Pinch and coil construction, introduction to studio tools
December 13: Soft slab construction
December 20: Hard slab construction
December 27: Glaze day!
